There are tons of activities to keep the visitor entertained during a trip to Southampton.  Many of them involve the warm water and beaches, but there is much to do away from the sand as well. 

            Southampton has numerous picture perfect beaches.  With white sand and crystal blue water, it is easy to spend entire days relaxing in the sun and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere.  Some of the beaches are private, accessible only to hotel guests, but there are public areas as well.  Note that all water and beach areas below the high water mark are accessible to the general public.  Visit Bermuda Beaches for more information about numerous areas.    

            Diving is a popular activity in Bermuda, and there are dive centers in Southampton.  The main features attracting divers from all over the world are the numerous ship wrecks.  Visit Bermuda Wrecks for more information.  Snorkeling from shore is also a great option.

            Many tourist come to Bermuda for the golf.  With lush green courses situated amongst stunning scenery, many players consider it paradise.  The Fairmont Southampton Hotel has an excellent course, but be sure to make reservations because it is popular.
