My husband and I just returned for a one week honeymoon at Hamanasi and could not have had a better time- the week was the perfect combination of romance and adventure that we were looking for.. We decided on Hamanasi after reading all the incredible reviews on this website and our hopes were high when we arrived at the resort- this resort was above and beyond our highest expectations! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The trips were top notch- we did the Monkey River tour (awesome, but bring a bottle of bug spray- dont miss out just because of the mosquitos!), cave tubing and zip lining at Jaguar Paw, mayan ruin tour, and 2 days of snorkeling. We were a little nervous about not being divers, as this is what the resort is known for- but this snorkeling was the best we've ever done. We saw 30 sting rays in one morning alone! We didnt realize how much driving was involved in getting to all the adventures, but we saw the countryside and the towns in Belize which was worthwhile. Our Inland tour guide on multiple adventures was Hartfield- he was so proud of Belize and taught a ton about the culture, economy, and history during our drives to and from the resort. The food was also memorable- we were always excited to go to dinner and see what new menu was offered each night. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, which was so beautiful and romantic, and we would absolutely pick that option again.

We had the best vacation we could imagine, and plan to go back again for an anniversary down the road!

After speding a week in some scary places in Costa Rica this month, I can really appreciate the amazing beauty, incredible service, and wonderful people in Belize. Hamasi made all of our honeymoon dreams come true. The lack of TV and telephone was a welcome break that allowed us to really spend time together, without other distractions. Our tour guides were informative, personable, and even willing and eager to make unscheduled stops that added to the experience. Everyone should have to opportunity to come to Belize and stay at Hamanasi.

Our stay at Hamanasi was amazing! The staff were very professional and friendly - they truly went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. After the first day everyone knew us by name and made us feel right at home. All of the guides were extremely knowledgeable and all of the trips were excellent. There is a wide range of activities for different interests and different ability levels - everything from diving and hiking to caving, wildlife viewing, canoeing, etc. Our room (and all the facilities) were very nice, spacious, and clean. The food was top notch - some of the best we've ever had.

Our only reget was that we couldn't stay longer - we will definitely go back for future vacations.

I am sure it is hard to have a bad time in Belize no matter where you go, but I was more than impressed with Hamanasi. Their staff truly enjoy their job of helping meet whatever needs you have during your stay. Everyone was very genuinely friendly and welcoming, which helps visitors relax and feel at home as soon as they arrive. To me this made the trip top notch....the adventures we went on for our day trips were led by guides who answered all your questions and went out of their way to make sure everyone could experience what they came to see. They took care of everything and made it look easy!
