“unfair”

Manhattan Broadway Hotel

I thing the worst thing about this place is that their are unfair and they hardly lift a finger to help you.
First evening we've got internet, the next four days we're told that there was a defect in th whole area : DDDD For 4 days!
Rooms are humid and dark (no daylight all over the day).
So, I think the price is much much to high even as for a budget hotel.
It is worth thinking to stay in a youth hostel.

“Very bad experience with the staff!!!!!!!!!”

We had a terrible experience with the staff. We had an issue with our credit card and the GM was rude, condoscending and I would even say prejudiced against women. He refused to be helpful, when he could clearly see this was an issue beyond our control. We had called (later) to follow up and he hung up the phone on me twice! What kind of proffessional service is that?! The hotel itself is small, cramped and not as clean as we expected. I would definately not stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone!

“Worst hotel ever!!!!!”

Manhattan Broadway Hotel

New York

Hotel was a nightmare booked a room that was suppose to have 2 queen beds, got a room that had a twin and double, requested a new room after seeing cockroaches. The next room wasn't much better it had friggin bunkbeds and barely had room to move. Forget the fact that we couldn't even check in until after 6pm because the room wasn't ready after I even called at 3pm and was assured the room was ready. Front desk help was from mars. Oh and after we were told the room was cleaned and ready we found a bunch of empty beer cans on the ledge. We requested towels because the only left 2 got more towels that were like sandpaper and no wash cloths. The front desk guy reminded me this was a budget hotel but I think that paying over $300,00 for a nights stay constitutes a little better quality.

“Stay only if you must”

Manhattan Broadway Hotel

Oct 12, 2008

I'm not going to go into the details of the problems my daughter and I had when we stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. I just want to say don't stay there unless you have no other choice. It is a miserable place, cold, loud and smelly with a mostly rude desk staff. This was my second trip to New York and as much as I like New York and hope to go again, if the Mahattan Broadway Hotel is the only place to stay, I will not go.

“Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!”

Okay...so my girlfriend and I stayed here in Jan of 08. And then once again in April of 08. Well...it wasn't as bad as I had thought. All the scary reviews and things...I feel bad for those people that went through that. We got pretty okay rooms. They were small, like everyone said, but I guess with just the two of us, that's okay. The 2nd time we stayed there, there were 4 of us. And well we actually got a room with 3 beds...one was a bunk bed, queen size, might I add, and then a single bed. And it was nice...very plain room, but it's NYC! You don't wanna be in your hotel room all that long anyway! All you wanna do is see the sights and have fun, you won't be spending all that much time in there anyway! That's what you just have to think of if you do end up getting a room that's horrible, but if it IS unbareable, then it's okay to ask for something nicer, etc. But we got what we paid for, and it was actually nice than I thought. The first night when we stayed...in Jan we paid $117. The 2nd time...was with the 4 of us it was $138. So...not all that bad, I cannot complain! I had a great time, and I will be staying at this hotel again!
