This hotel is well-situated, just a few miles from Disney, along I4. There is a shuttle service, but it only runs in the morning and evening, so if you want to leave the parks for a few hours and come back to the hotel for a swim or a nap before returning, you will need to take your own car or a cab.

We were a little put off by the fact that when we called the day of our arrival, about 2 hrs. before the normal checkin time of 3PM, we were told no problem. After we checked in, we were told maintenance was being done and there might be no water between 1 and 5 PM. The water was off for awhile and the problem fixed, but it would have been nice to know beforehand.

Other than this issue, the hotel was well-outfitted and the service personnel polite and professional. A continental breakfast would have been nice, but for the price, it can't be beat.

“OK hotel, Good for visiting Disney and Sea World”

This hotel served as a base for our trip to Orlando -unlike most people, we weren't looking for the Disney experience and wanted a couple of days at both Disney and Sea World. This hotel was an easy drive to both, but the previous comments about the U-Turn are spot on. We are from DC area and yet the traffic still shocked us.

The hotel is nice and our room was comfortable with some minor quibbles. It was clean and service was good. The sleep number bed was fine provided you could figure out your number (my husband never quite got his so he complained but the rest of us were fine). We didn't love the bathroom sink - although it was new and modern, it tended to get water all over the place and it came out quite far from the wall, plus there was no magnifiying mirror, so for a short person with bad eyesight like me, it was hard to put on makeup.

We did the breakfast promotion - I don't recommend it. 1) You are near cheaper places to eat breakfast plus a grocery store and 2) the service in the hotel restaurant is awful (our only bad service experience by the way, the rest of the hotel staff were very nice and helpful) and the food is so-so and overpriced.

Overall this is a good choice for sleeping quarters and a base - you can find very good rates here.

“Beautiful New Hotel! Right next to Disney!”

Oh a whim a group of friends and I decided to go to Walt Disney World. We didn't have the money for one of the Disney Resorts and noticed a moderatly priced brand new hotel right across from Downtown Disney.

The staff was beyond nice. They were friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. They even upped our room to a suite for no additional charge! Our room had two queen beds with a sofa bed in the living room plus a bedroom (with closing doors) harboring a king bed and a bathroom. There were two flat screens in the room with a brilliant picture. The beds were very comfortable, sheets were clean, and infact...the intire room was spotless.

The hotel was not noisy. It was very well maintained. Free breakfast. Perfect. I can't say enough. I wish it was in downtown disney but otherwise it was great. They offered free shuttle to the disney parks and downtown disney.

If you don't care about staying in a Disney Resort this is the place.

“Extended Stay at the Radisson LBV”

We stayed here from June 24th to July 4th, and it was great! As stated before the hotel seems brand new. I booked the stay directly through Radisson, if you are staying for more than 7 days, there is a special extended stay rate that is available only through their website.

I had a room with two queen beds and a pull out sleeper sofa. It's nice to have the extra bed, one of the few hotels of this price range to accommodate up to 6. There is a flat TV on the wall with a video input for a gaming system. There is also an in room safe, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.

The bathrooms have nice marble counters with a fancy sink and faucet.

The beds are pretty comfortable, with adjustment for firmness. One thing though, each side of the bed gets two pillows, which is normal, but one of the pillows is HUGE! I couldn't get the pillows situated properly! Radisson should go to a system of smaller pillows like Hampton Inn where there are several different types of pillows to choose from for each person. with varying degrees of firmness.

Some people mentioned the highway noise. I had a room facing the highway, and none of us thought the noise was bad. Also, some mentioned the AC turning off and on, I didn't find this to be much of a problem. The AC is controlled by a wall mounted thermostat. Noise from hallways or adjoining rooms was also not a problem.

The pool area is also good, and was hardly ever busy. There is also a bar that looked good, but didn't have a chance to visit.

Since there is a center median you will more than like have to perform the U-turn mentioned in earlier reviews to get to your hotel, or to get to I-4. Most of the time the U-turn is not a problem, only during peak traffic times is it a pain.

The location of the hotel is very good with quick access to theme parks. Also, plenty of restaurants and a grocery store is just north of the hotel in the Crossroads shopping center.

There are a few things I would like to see at this hotel. Better Wi-Fi access, and a place to do laundry. There is a cleaners less then a mile north of the hotel, we took our clothes there for basic wash and fold, kind of expensive but we didn't have to deal with laundry on our vacation! Oh, and a larger trash bin would be good too!

Overall I was very pleased with the hotel, and would seriously consider staying here again.
