We were in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in block 5. The accommodation was very spacious and well equipped. The kitchen had enough crockery for up to 8 people and also had a food mixer! We were on the top floor and couldn't hear anyone else except on one occasion when the apartment next door had the jacuzzi on at 6am! The pool is too small for the size of the complex but we did always manage to get a sunbed on the odd occasion that we used the pool. The new pool is still under construction and when we left at the end of July it still looked like there was a fair amount of work still to be finished. The onsite shop which encompassed Pizza Hut was very handy particularly when we first arrived. There was also a games room with 3 pool tables and various arcade type games which was very popular with my 11 year old son. The location is great for shopaholics as you can walk to the LBV factory outlets and Premium outlets are 5 minutes drive away. When we checked in we were given discount vouchers to use in the LBV outlet stores. The location is also ideal for Disney and Sea World, which were the parks we visited. A wide choice of restaurants are all within easy driving reach of the complex. Walmart, Publix and Target are left along the 535 and Goodings is right along the 535 within the Crossroads shopping area. We had a fantastic holiday and I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

“Great stay at Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa”

Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa

I stayed at Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa for a week in early June of this year. The stay was great. The staff there was very helpful and accomodated us with any requests we had. The 3 bedroom unit was very clean. The pool was small but one was being built that looked to be much more spacious. The irish pub had terrific pub food and being located next to the outlet stores was very convienient. Overall I would definitely go back

“WONDERFUL experience”

We just returned yesterday from a 5 day trip to Orlando and stayed at the Lake Buena Vista Village and absolutely loved it. I've gone to Orlando 5 times previous and stayed on the Disney property and loved the convenience of the transportation to the parks, but this time we rented a mini van, we had 4 adults and 2 small children, and this was much more enjoyable. The washer and dryer and full kitchen was what made the stay here so pleasurable and saved us a ton of money on food because we could go to the Wal Mart right up the street and buy groceries and eat in our room at least one meal a day. The kids loved having room to run and play in the condo's. A hotel room is so cramped and there is no way to entertain them. The only negative is the promised new large pool was still not open and we were looking forward to having it open for the kids. We will definitely stay again!

“Stay Somewhere Else”

Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa

2 of 5 stars
Estes Park, Colorado
Aug 6, 2008

Our room was spacious with nice amenities, but that's the only thing nice that can be said.

On arrival our room was dirty: dirty carpets, dirty dishes, hairs in the bathroom, one toilet was plugged, etc. The kitchen pots and utensils were scant. Not even a salt shaker. We had to ask for a frying pan. The front desk staff looked tired and were disinterested in our comfort.

The worst thing was that there is a giant, noisy cooling system fan of some kind right outside our window that made it hard to sleep.

For the money, I'm sure I can find a nicer place in Orlando.

“Awesome Hotel”

Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa

I stayed with my family at this hotel for 4 nights (8/1/08-8/5/08) and found it to be a wonderful experience. The checkin process was fast and efficient. It took less then 5 minutes! The property was spotless. The room was awesome. A king size bedroom and a second bedroom with two twins. A Plasma TV in the living room, and two other TV's in the bedrooms.

The suite, (2 bedroom, kitchen, living room, two bathrooms, and even washer and dryer) was well appointed and clean.

The property had security staff on site during overnight hours. The staff helped me out everyday with printed out directions to all attractions including return directions. The checkout process to less then 2 minutes. I high recommend this well managed hotel. The Hotel is close to everything!
