“Very High expectations, Above average Experience”

I spent 3 nights (Long week-End) at Rosewood’s Al Faisaliah, My secretary made the reservation by calling the Hotel directly and the rate was a bet high $280 per night including tax
I was expecting the hotel building in the 267M tower but soon I realized that it's only in the attached building.

I had a Superior Room / single Non smoking room at the third floor and there was a bet delay in the check in the local staff did not have an access to the hotel system and we had to wait few seconds for non-Saudi senior staff to complete my check in process

It seem to me local staff are less experienced and they had less authority, also when I asked about a very important Festival (Genadriah) he was puzzled and seems have no idea when it will be?!

Other than, this check in process was very smooth and the local staff walks me all the way to my room

Room was reasonably okay comparing to the high daily rate, room was extremely clean, neat beds are comfortable, and bathroom was the best thing about the room

Hi Tech control system was located near the bed side which you can control every thing (Lights-A/C-out side door signals-world time…..) from the touch screen monitor (even the curtains) but I had to unplugged during the night since the alarm went off suddenly.

TV was nothing special it will be better if it was an LCD TV other equipment was available i.e. HI FI, DVD ,Fax

Mini bar was very small and not cold enough, Internet Access was not for free you have to pay $19 per day or $6 per hour to gain access although I managed (work around solution) to access my email!! (for free)

Room services was one of the best, it was fast and food was great and this was the same for the very cool restaurant "The Globe" mainly the cigar lounge at the sun set at the top of the tower it is a must see and try place it was one of my best 14/2 moments.

Butler service was not as I expected he was late 10-20 minuets taking and bringing back my shoes for cleaning.

Checkout was very fast and smooth …

The very disturbing matter for me was the hotel car entrance, it is very narrow and always crowded and you need to wait for 5-10 minutes for the suffers to bring your car over from the parking

Over all hotel was one of the best hotels in Riyadh and KSA (may be a second best to the near by 4 seasons) but not for sure the best in the region!!

“Top-notch facilities, personalised attention”

Stayed at Al Failsaliah for a 5 nights' business trip. This elegant hotel has spacious, light rooms with all the usual five star amenities. The real bonus was the individual attention I received as a guest. Staff remembered me and my preferences and went out of their way to get even the smallest of details right. Excellent gymn and pool (but for men only).
