I booked this hotel for our first 2 nights after arrival from a trans-atlantic flight into ATL. The HIE is a good 30 min drive to the north away from the airport, but in a very good neighborhood. The hotel staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were nice and clean. Free internet access is provided. However, I felt inconvenienced for the fact that microwaves and mini-fridges aren't provided (only icebuckets). This is a veteran hotel in a semi urban setting. The hotel feels urban even though it is in a more suburban setting. Towering high rises dwarf this 7 story hotel. My room was ok for cleanliness but I shortly discovered there were ants in my room...the clothes I left on my bed were infested. The hotel relocated me to another room (with little remorse) and then the TV in the new room didn't work. They wanted to move me again but I suggested taking the TV out of another room.... more
