This hotel is in a great location for all the tourist traps. 5th Ave, Times Square, Empire State. The bar and building is very cool and breakfast was fantastic. It seemed very pricey off the menu but ours was included and this is a very good option. We didnt stay for food in the evening so have no comment. Overall... more

My wife and I stayed at the Royalton for two nights the room was very comfortable and is designed in a minimalist style which is very pleasing to the eye but not practical in the bathroom where there is very little space to set your toiletries. Hotel did run out of hot water one day between 5-6PM, maintenance arrived immediately... more

Staff were very nice and helpful. I'm particularly sensitive to noise and it was not problem for them to let me see a few different rooms before deciding on one. The conceirge was lovely and recommended a great Italian restaurant. Lobby was relaxing and funky a good place for a drink before heading out. Noise was a problem. I stuck... more

If you are going to spend some time in NY city, this hotel is absolut great! Me and my friend spent 5 nights in august 2008 and we had a marvellous time. Friendly personel, nice and clean room, rain-shower and we even had a balconny. Our bose i-pod dock didn't work, gave a ring to the reception and in no... more

Just got back from a wonderful time in the Big Apple. I booked the Royalton Hotel this time with Hotwire and was quite pleased! First: This is a hotel for a great romantic leason. The mood of the hotel is very mysterious. Somewhat dark; but not so dark that you can't see. The lobby is one of the best I... more

I brought my mother to NY in July since she never saw the city before. I wanted the right hotel for our 4 days stay, well located, high quality, good service and nice people. The Royalton was definitely the right pick. One block from Time Square, two from Bryant Park, next to the 5th, 15 minutes walk from Central Park.... more

I booked one night at the Royalton Hotel to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday in the city. (We are both from NY, but I thought seeing the city from a tourist perspective might be kind of fun)... I would consider myself more than familiar with the area where the Royalton is situated. I have passed it thousands of times, but never... more

I booked a weekend getaway to NYC using hotwire and got a great deal to stay at the Royalton. From the minute I walked in, I was quite impressed with the design which I found to be very hip and trendy. I was given a spacious room, by NYC standards, that had a terrace which was utilized when having breakfast... more

We just came back from a six nights stay in a deluxe room. The room had a good size and we liked the modern style. The bath with the large round tub is very nice. The shower is very powerful. The hairdryer could have been better. We found the bed in our room very comfortable but too small. Our room... more

Royalton Hotel is simply amazing. It is sophisticated, chic and the staff are incrediable and will make you feel like a celebrity. The rooms are extreemly spacious and have such a fresh feel to them. This hotel has all the minors down to a tee. From the modern bed side tables to the lounge area. The fire in the main... more
