overall beautifull hotel getting back on their feet,and who dosent love a comeback! like any place there are ups and downs but the plaza has more up's than their downs. i reconmend it to any one who has wanted to see new york with a bit of style. more

The Plaza is a fabulous property. The service was impeccable. We were treated like royalty by every staff member that we encountered. Even the morning we departed, at 4am, the front desk clerk was alert, friendly and genuinely concerned with how we felt about our stay. The bellman was also at his best at this hour. Wow! It was more than I imagined! We loved our room, we loved the service. It was amazing to feel so privileged and pampered. Got there before the grand opening and missed seeing more Eloise things, but we found her portrait (it's now my phone wallpaper!) The staff was outstanding and made sure we Southern Country girls felt very special.... more

Went here before the renno, the room was small and old. The location is great, as is teh Oak Room for dinner and bar. But Tea in the Palm Court is a rip-off then and now for $100 per person. Service is bad, atmosphere lovely but food bad as well. Would maybe go back considering the renno more

We stayed in a 1000sqft Edwardian suite and it had a modernized old style design which was quite succesful actually.
