We wanted a hotel close to Times Square and this hotel fitted the bill. We could walk to anywhere in Times Square. There is a Starbuck's across the street, an Applebee's in the lobby of the hotel. We stayed at the Hilton TImes Square after staying at the Waldorf Astoria. The level of service at the Hilton was very much lacking, especially compared to the Waldorf! First the good: hotel is well-located and the rooms are large, especially for Manhattan. My room had a great view. Now the bad: The room, while large, was not in the best shape. Stayed at the Hilton Times Square earlier this week. Rooms are bigger than average for New York City, and hotel is conveniently located just off Times Square. The lowest level hotel floor is level 25, so street noise is not a problem. Room decor is functional but clean. Hotel linens and beds are excellent quality. more

This is a fantastic hotel for anyone who has never stayed in New York before or wants to be in the centre of everything.
