We stayed at this hotel for a marriage conference so we got a great rate of $130 per night. We stayed on the 6th floor in a standard room. When we entered the room, it had a funky smell, but rooms cleanliness was pretty good. There was some stains on the bathrooms walls that looked like they would wash off.... more

Stayed one night in early November (election night). Arrived early evening after flying into LAX and driving down and then had an early start (we were running a breakfast seminar @ the hotel) so didn't really use any of the hotel facilities other than those mentioned here. The good thing is the hotel is real easy to locate being just... more

I have just returned from spending two nights at the Hyatt Regency La Joll - Aventine. The rooms are modern, quiet and very clean. The bathroom is quite spacious. I had requested extra pillows and a bath rob that were ready for me when I got to the room. I have stayed at many top hotels around the United States... more

A colleague from work had a confirmed reservation (with credit card), but he arrived in the evening to be told that the Hyatt had no room for him. Under protest, he was relocated to another hotel several miles away. I'd checked in earlier for 2 nights but was repeatedly disturbed my first morning by various members of staff asking if... more

I attended a conference at this hotel and was very pleased with both staff and the accomodations. The decor was modern/slightly Asian, and very soothing and peaceful. Extremely clean rooms and public areas. Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Slightly weird suburban-like location, but I'm not a native of California...so what do I know. I did get street-side parking all 4... more

Short and sweet: We Pricelined for San Diego Coastal and rec'd a room here. I wanted a bit closer to the water but have wanted to stay here and try since we live about 12 minutes away. Facilities were clean and very nice, but the service was EXCELLENT. I mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary that weekend while talking... more

Just returned from a business/vacation in San Diego. Hyatt was the worst 4 star hotel I have ever stayed at. Stayed 9/1 thru9/7, 3 days didn't get coffee to make in the "one" cup coffee machine and one day didn't get any coffee cup(paper). I have stayed in a 1 star hotel and had a full pot coffee maker. Vanity... more

We spent whole week in this hotel and although our room was nice and clean and hotel staff was rather friendly I think we won’t choose this hotel again as we find it overpriced and really oriented to business people or big party groups. more

I was staying at this facility for a conference. My husband decided to come along at the last minute and wanted to bring his boat, which is trailored behind our massive truck. I called the hotel the day before asking if parking would allow for this. The woman I spoke with said, just come, we will figure it out. Well... more
