I did not know all about the history of this hotel prior to staying. I got the reservation two days before I left on my trip. When I was there I heard about it being the oldest hotel in operation from our trolley tour driver. Since then I have done some research and found out all kinds of things that... more

The Parker has always been our favourite hotel in Boston. The location is perfect - just a few steps from Boston Commons and Faneuil hall. The hotel is a charming classic hotel but has been renovated in New England style - the beds are just wonderful. They also are very attentive to families with kids. Kids get little backpacks with... more

My husband actually booked the room online first, but wanting to confirm a few things, wound up dealing with the hotel directly. This was a surprise for me for our 25th anniversary and I will honestly say I was enchanted. Of course, as we had our wedding reception at the Parker House 25 years ago, and have stayed there since... more

Stayed here as part of a Tauck tour- I understand why the hotel has cache- historic, blah blah- Location is very good- a major plus. However, the room was SMALL- they had two standard beds in it and there was barely enough room for us to put down our two suitcases. Staff was OK- Cleanliness was OK- Dining room was... more

We stayed one night at the Omni Parker House prior to leaving out on a cruise. I just want to let you know the Parker House is fabulous. The staff, the property, the food, the drinks, etc. It is within walking distance of shops, Cheers, History, Freedom Trail. We booked a junior suite, and boy was it sweet. New decor... more

Beautiful ornate hotel foyer. We checked in around 11pm and I was totally ignored at the front door with my 1 luggage bag. no big deal but always nice to be asked. He even looked at me but said nothing. Checkin was smooth but when we asked what type of a room we had as in was it a king... more

What a beautiful, elegant, lovely old hotel! What lackluster inattentive service all round! I stayed four-nights at the Omni Parker House, and was disappointed at every turn. Though an architecturally grand and truly historic hotel, the staff is just not at the level the building is! The entire staff, and I mean everyone I came into contact with in every... more

My spouse and I spent a night here and had read ahead of time about the exceptional courtesy of the staff. It's 100% true, from the moment you pull up to the curb. They were helpful, gracious, friendly, and even went the extra mile, taking our faux ice cubes from our cooler to the hotel kitchen to freeze overnight and... more

Three nights in the very center of historic and financial Boston. Having reserved a lot ahead of time (June for September) I got excellent rates for a luxury room. Having enrolled as an Omni member I had nice extras delivered to my room like newspapers, orange or pinepple juice, coffee, chocolate etc.).Service was very good, location great to any place... more

With this being our first trip to Boston, I did a lot of research because I wanted our trip to be the best possible. (It was our honeymoon) I felt that the Omni Parker would be the best choice because of its location, and it was. We were within walking distance of everything, and if it was too far, there... more
