A good location if you want to be walking distance to sights and transportation. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is the close proximity to Fisherman's Wharf. The lobby is nice, and the staff was very friendly. Our room was small by American standards but really comfortable, well appointed, and quiet. The Tuscan Inn was in a great location a few minutes from Fisherman's Wharf. It was easy to walk to North Beach as well. What can you say about a place that does not dazzle but delivers solid consistent performance.. The price was reasonable based on others in the vicinity and it does a good job. The room was clean, the staff was great and it was CLOSE to Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf (easy walk). I'd stay there again. The restaurant looks nice... more
