This is a great place. We stayed in the garden room, and were very pleased with room. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was cozy. Our room at Barkley Homestead was not clean. The carpet and bedspread were stained. The backsplash of the bathtub had dried soap scum. The bottom outside of the shower stall had a fairly thick crust of dried mold framing the corner. My wife found some fresh looking blood stain on the bed sheets. This B & B is located on 8320 Stoney Creek Rd, Fair Play, CA 95684. This B & B has recently been taken over by new owners. And they are very nice and gracious, and helpful.
