Six of us (three couples) travelled to Egypt as a private tour arranged by Cairo Travel Service. I had requested all four star hotels. I do not believe the travel company had visited the Cairo hotels they took us to, and we later learned that hotel stars can be bought. Our first hotel was the Delta (Casablanca) Pyramids Hotel near... more

The hotel is quite old and the rooms are stuffy. A lot of South Asian tourists in big groups. Reception lost my ID card. Breakfast with large variety, but extremely poor food quality. Located in Gizeh with selected rooms having a view of the pyramids. For a city trip to Cairo, do not stay in Gizah, as the traffic to... more

my husband, daughter and i stayed at the delta pyramids in 2007. we had booked a triple room, but my daughter ended up sleeping on a matress on floor, apparently they didn't have any spare beds, but this was the least of our problems. breakfast was provided but none of us could eat it, it was horrible and we ended... more

We recently stayed at the Delta Pyramids Hotel for our trip to Egypt. We had a total of 4 nights - 2 at the beginning of the trip and 2 at the end. The first 2 nights were horrible - the majority of the rooms have a view of the pyramids at Giza - but as a result they are... more

The good: There is a pool and a terrace on the top floor with a view of the pyramids and its cheep. The trick to staying in this hotel is to take a back room. I cant stress this enough, the view is nice but sleep is better!!!! The bad: The food is poor, dont order room service. The breakfast... more

Too much noise, low quality accomodation, but what do you expect in such a cheap hotel. ..If we only knew, we would certainly book in another hotel. The only positive things were the gentle attitude of the staff, and the breakfast. more

This is supposedly a 4 star hotel, that would be 4 stars too many. Our tour operator booked us into this hotel on 5 separate occasions. Each room we booked into had problems; showers not working, no shower curtains, toilets not flushing on 3 occasions. The rooms were dirty and falling apart and we asked to move so many times.... more

We were booked in and out of this hotel three times in the week as we went on overnight excursions. All the rooms were really cramped, cupboards were just about on top of the beds and the bathrooms all had problem, broken shower curtains, basins stuck together with cement, etc. Really tacky and dirty looking fittings. The restaurant was full... more

A decent hotel in a bad neighborhood. Room had a view of the Giza Pyramids, but neighborhood was very noisy, dirty, and... well, the typical Cairo/Giza environment. I would not suggest walking around at night, or during the day for that matter. Cut the hassle and just get a cab from the hotel entrance. Hotel is very secure, rooms are... more
