It's true what they say - if you book a car from the Nile Hilton to pick you up at the airport, the representative speeds you through immigration in about two minutes. This was our first stay in a Hilton property and was a total disapointment. Our check in attendant was rude and unhelpful which wasn't a great start as we stayed 4 nights in room 431 which was a shabby, old, tired, noisy, poor quality room which had pathetic bathroom conditions, poor and dated equipment and not even tea/coffee making facilities.... more

We had seen this restaurant tucked down a side road near the Nile Palace but disregarded it as a cafe. Thank goodness we decided to try an evening meal there. The food was well cooked - the vine leaves , fish tajen and Egyptian bread pudding were delicious. Service was excellent more

Stayed here for a few days as in Cairo for meeting. Nice view of the Nile River. The housekeeping was very good. The rooms were basic rooms and somewhat dated but clean. Small TV's in the rooms and had to arrange to get a cable from the business center to connect to internet in the room, which was time consuming.... more

We loved this hotel, go now before it gets new owners. The Nile view...stunning. The pool wonderful. From out 11 year old son a great pull out bed (looked like original equipment) and best breakfast waffles in Egypt. Staff were exceptional in a country where hotel staff a gerenrally very good. more

Hi folks, Stayed 4 nights in oct2008. The Nile hilton is a busy place, casino,conventions ect... Hotel staff was polite and very helpfull from moment taxi dropped me off.
