Having stayed at the Nile Hilton in May 2007, I can only say that the Marriott in Zamalek is by far better and for the same cost. I had an executive room on the 12th floor. Rooms have been recently refurbished and are similar to most 5star hotel rooms in the States or in Europe. The staff is very polite... more

This is an excellent four star hotel. Rooms are large, clean, and very comfortable - updated, and modern. Hotel facilities are outstanding. Many restaurants - enjoyed Omar's Cafe and The Bakery. Grounds are well maintained and great for a stroll. Staff were courteous and helpful. A couple of 24 hour banks are located in the hotel for easy exchange of... more

This is a great hotel, one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. I would recommend the Bakery, our table was served by the pastry chef who was a delight to talk to and the food was outstanding. The 24hour pool was lovely and warm. If the main restaurants are too pricey I would recommend the cafe bar... more

We stayed at this hotel for three nights this November. We found the hotel to be an excellent place to stay in Cairo. The rooms were of a good size with wonderful beds and very clean. The service throughout the hotel is outstanding. They have a variety of restaurants so there is no need to go outside to find quality... more

This hotel is located in the Zemalek district of Cairo, which is generally very nice. The hotel is pretty upscale throughout and the room was pleasant. A good variety of restaurants on the property. A little pricey, but typical of a resort I suppose... more

We are a family with 2 children, 12 and 14. We stayed here at the end of a full tour of Egypt, so it was a wonderful oasis of calm within Cairo center. We stayed on 17th floor with a lovely view down the Nile. The hotel has everything in it - restaurants, pool, shops. So you dont need to... more

The hotel is beautiful and the facilities are great. Most facilities are open 24 hours a day (including the swimming pool and bank!). The only problem we had was that they are currently undertaking renovation work (October 2008) so avoid staying on the 19th Floor. We were woken up to find building work taking place on either side of our... more

Firstly, the hotel would not book a transfer service for us from the airport because we were arriving from Luxor. This meant that we had to negotiate our own cab fare from Cairo airport. Of course, the driver tries to extort more money from us on the way because the hotel is really far from the airport etc but we... more
