For you people coming on holidays, be aware.....This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so there is nothing else to do other than staying at the hotel and you are forced to use their expensive facilities. This hotel is very peaceful (the nightclub did not trouble us at all; we hardly knew it was there) and not too large - the largely open plan areas mean it's good for children, who can never roam far. Just spent 1 week with my family at the Danat Resort in Abu Dhabi. Great hotel, well equiped, great location on its private white sandy beach. Good choice of restaurants, excellent food and great buffets (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Nice pools; especially safe for children as at least 2 persons are constantly overwatching them!
