I would recommend Le Meridien Amman to anyone looking for a very clean and comfortable hotel with good public areas and restaurants. The bedrooms are large, clean with nice bathrooms and quality accessories. There are ATMs, a Starbucks Coffee Shop and a travel shop on the ground floor public areas. The service in the restaurants, (non Starbucks) coffee shop and... more

Perfectly adequate hotel for its class with nothing seriously lacking. As mentioned in a previous review breakfast can be a rather noisy, chaotic affair. more

This hotel seems very nice as you arrive and the rooms were absolutely fine, except they smell of smoke - even the non-smoking rooms smell of smoke apparently. Very comfy beds and nice bathrooms excpet we had very tepid showers. Food for breakfast was fine - absolute chaos at the busy times , and you wait for ages for drinks... more

We were terribly disappointed by the Meridien Amman. We stayed for one night during a recent tour of Jordan and expected a lot more than we got. Where to begin? We got into our room and two lights were not working. The bell man promised to send someone to fix them. No one ever showed up. The TV was hard... more

POSITIVES: Very large rooms. Good bathroom. Fantastic water pressure for showers. One of the most comfortable beds I've had in any hotel. I imagine this hotel was fabulous 20 years ago, but now it's just comfortable and a bit tired. Loved the breakfast. Would go back happily. NEGATIVES: a bit of traffic noise, but was still able to sleep. Internet... more

We were only two nights in this hotel and although we arrived at 2am after long delays at the airport getting into Jordan, our bags arrived in our room very promptly. It was an excellent room with good fittings and very spacious. We only had breakfast in the hotel and this was a little chaotic with most of the tables... more

We have reasantly returned from a wonderful holiday touring Jorda. The first three nights were spent at the Le Meridien Amman, where I found to my horror I was sharing my bed with some very unwelcome visitors BED BUGS,the first morning Ithought I had scratched my leg when I saw blood on the bedding ,but when it happened next morning we... more

I was a little hesitant to stay at the hotel because of the mixed reviews. But it was booked through a travel agent, and I stayed there 1 night at the beginning of my trip and 2 nights at the end of the trip. Its a great hotel, and the staff were very friendly. One of the concierges was a... more

I have just stayed for two nights at this hotel, and I considered it fine – not super-luxurious like the two Moevenpicks I stayed at in Petra and the Dead Sea, but perfectly fine. When my friend and I first arrived, we had a problem because we were given a room with a double bed instead of twin beds, but... more

I stayed at the hotel for business. Admittedly, this was my first trip to Jordan, let alone the Middle East. So I had no expectations and was somewhat wary especially when seeing the recent negative reviews on this site. I can say that my experience was excellent and exceeded expectations. The staff is incredibly out-going and friendly and try to... more
