We stayed here as part of a tour. The room was clean and spacious. . The bathroom was nice and clean. . There was some maintenance work going on within the hotel between the hours of 9am to 5pm We were on the 19th floor, but could still here road noise.Underneath the hotel (first 3 floors) is a shopping mall... more

Stayed in Windsor Plaza Hotel, Ho Chi Minh for 4 nights from 11 - 15 September 2008. I've booked two rooms Executive Deluxe for my ladies colleagues and myself. We were escorted to the Executive Lounge at the 24th Floor to check in and some light refreshment. Check in was really smooth and the service from the staff were superb.... more

We stayed here as part of a tour. The room was clean and quite spacious, but the bed was uncomfortable and a bit lumpy. The bathroom was nice and clean with a bath and shower over, but at times the hot water was limited. As we were on our honeymoon, they had decorated the bed and bathroom with rose petals... more

Didn't enjoy this hotel at all. We paid extra to get an upgrade to an executive room on a non smoking floor. The room stank of tobacco and there were renovations going on, right above our room, supposedly from 9 am to 5pm but actually started at 8.00 and finished at 5.30. The reception apologized for the noise but just... more

I stayed at the windsor with my girlfriend and two other people. We booked two room. At first we were a little bit hesitate about the hotel but found that this hotel have more to offer. True that the hotel is located in the District 5 but trust me you do not want to be in District 1 unless you... more

A comfortable clean hotel with good sized rooms - nothing to distinguish it from any other chain of hotels. Ideal to use a base for a short stay in Ho Chi Minh City more

My wife and I booked the Windsor Plaza through a net website and we both enjoyed our stay. Although the hotel is in District 5, it was close enough to the action downtown in District 1, complete with a complimentary shuttle bus to the vibrant District 1 area. The market next door to the hotel was friendly and had A/C... more

This was by far the worst hotel stay. I stayed at Park Hyatt, Somerset Serviced Apartment, Hotel Equatorial, etc and Windsor Plaza Hotel would certainly rank at the bottom (I stayed there from 17-20 March 2008). You will be greeted by a very dated-looking concierge on the ground floor when you first arrived. The real lobby is situated at 4th... more

It's surprising to me that some folks had a bad experience at this hotel. My wife and I and our 25 yr old son stayed here in March of 07 for 5 days while touring around the Saigon area. We really loved the hotel. It is in District 5 away from the hustle and bustle of District 1. It is... more

Stayed for 2 nights at the end of a super tour through Vietnam. This hotel is in the wrong location for the main sightseeing as it can take up to 1 hour to travel 1 mile at peak times. The hotel majors on tourists and at breakfast and early evening its chaos. True the lifts are a nightmare - can... more
