We stayed at Masuwe Lodge because we were under the impression that we had to, in order to do the Lion Encounter. As it transpired, that was simply the way the wholesaler created the brochure. within an hour of arriving into victoria falls i was sipping on a cool drink watching an herd of 15 elephants sip their own beverage at the lodges waterhole(located just under the eating area). souond great? well it was outstanding. the lodge is the home of the lion encounter-which you can do as a seperate trip from another lodge/hotel but... more
