Recently returned from a four night stay at the Pink Flamingo. It is hard to believe this lovely place was once an 80's motel. The accomodation is brightly coloured and clean. The Pink Flamingo was a great choice for our stop in Port Douglas. It was private, quiet and has everything you need. It is just an easy 5 minute bike ride into town. The staff is very helpful with excellent recommendations for activities and food. more

I cant say enough good things about the Pink Flamingo. Without doubt the most relaxing holiday we have been on. The pool is awesome and service is fantastic. Easy walk to the beach and to town for a great selection of restaurants. We stayed in the Pink Flamingo for 3 nights and loved it. The room (private vila) was spacious, very well decorated and the outside bath is perfect. Stayed for four nights and enjoyed every child free minute of it. The room was spacious and romantic with a lovely chilled out atmosphere. Nice touches were the candles, incense, CDs, fresh coffee every morning.
