We stayed for 1 night. booked 4 rooms in all. On entering the hotel the lobby area was very inviting and the receptionist was extremely friendly - local girl, I reckon. She knew the area very well, when we looked for directions later. The rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean. They are very well equipped with tea/coffee, kettle, biscuits, bottled... more

We should have known what to expect on arrival, the surly man behind the counter did not even speak ,just passed over keys. We were part of a larger group but 6 of us occupied 3 rooms. My daughter's room was dirty and totally unacceptible and took over an hour to rectify which was a nightmare at 11.30pm, the shower... more

Stayed here for a wedding that was taking place in Newtonmountkennedy, as was considerably cheaper than staying at that hotel for the night, and we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were all very clean, spacious and we were very impressed for €85 a night (room only). The only issue being the location. If you're not driving, you can't really walk... more

We stayed overnight with a Skills Holiday in 2007 and expecting an early breakfast found none of the catering staff had turned up. So to this year,no we didnt volunteer again it was a last minute Skills switch.we were allocated our room and found it had been completely left uncleaned, beds unmade, bags of rubbish on the floor, beer glasses in the bathroom,and... more

After a nightmare time at another well known Bray hotel last year,a change was a priority. The hotel is out of the town but a small red bus stops outside every 30 mins and only 1 euro 50 cents to the Dart station in Bray.Rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff and food 1st class.Just a nice relaxing break. more

Overall the hotel was very nice, the staff were pleasant and available when needed. It is not quite the 10 minutes walk from town that is advertised and this seems all the longer in the rain but it is a nice location for a nice hotel. Breakfast is exceptional value more

Nice hotel on the outskirts of Bray, about a mile or so from the town. The staff were superb but the management appeared to lack organisational ability. Two coach parties were booked in and scheduled for breakfast at the same time. Alas no milk, no cereals, waitress staff fronting the massed hoarde, but no calming presence to resolve the situation.... more

stayed here for a 2 night weekend getaway in march 2008. Reception staff very good. Room as you would expect from a aging hotel - clean, but could do with a refresh. Bathroom OK. shower worked fine. Breakfast just OK. but a great selection from the buffet. Evening meal was quite good (part of the deal). Noisy at night -... more

Two of us (mid 20's) stayed in the ramada for 2 nights for the easter holidays,it was just ok.What people have previously said is true, it is quite far away from everything, a long walk from Bray, luckily we had a car. We happened to be staying in the new part of the building, but having stayed in previous ramada... more

the rooms are what you would expect at a hotel with this rating but the showers are a problem,to say there is no pressure is an understatement the water dribbles out.evening meal was ok,breafast was better.there is no hotel bar to speak of,there is a open seating area in the foyer which they use but it seems cold and uninviting... more
