This was our first visit to Italy and the warm welcome we received at the Napoleon (after flying all night) started the trip off on a very positive note. My daughter and I felt very safe and secure even though we were alone in a new city. Compared to similarly priced hotels in Paris and London, the Napoleon was a... more

Booked the hotel after seeing it advertised on TV's "The Travel Bug". A central 4 star hotel, however would not exactly say that this is a 4 star, (glad we never booked a 3 star) the towels on the first day were dirty and our room lacked any character, was simply dull. However front desk staff were very helpful, although... more

The Napoleon Hotel was great. The room we stayed in was small but nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was great. We stayed there 6 nights. The location was pretty good, there is a subway stop right outside ( but be careful the subway in Rome closes earlier than I expected it to!) The Colosseum and... more

Fantastic staff who we're both polite and welcoming. Was pleasantly surprised to receive a bottle of wine on the house for my birthday which they had noticed from my passport. Its the small things that make a big impression. They made our first visit to Rome a hugely enjoyable experience. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone. more

The pick-up driver from the airport (Franco ?) made us feel right at home for our first trip to Roma. As he passed each monument/historical site, he gave us a brief description or a quick historical fact. In fact, we got a free orientation of Roma. The bellhop was attentive but not at all pushy. The staff at the reception... more

The Napoleon hotel in Rome is a real gem, a real value for the money. While there we met three guest who picked the Napoleon from internet comments and who were all extremely pleased with their find. The desk staff led by Franco is charming. They will try to help you out anyway they can. They will try to solve... more

Hotel was well situated next to the metro which is handy for trips to the Vatican and only a 10 minute walk to the Coliseum. We had two family rooms during our visit, the first was a bit small for the three of us but was OK. Because of a problem with the air condition the Hotel promptly moved us... more

This hotel lived up to my expectations. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The location with a Metro stop in front of it was ideal for accessing the sights. I will return to this hotel on my next visit to Rome. more

We had a great stay at the Napoleon Hotel. Service was excellent and staff was very personable. Subway was just outside the door. I would stay there again. more

This was our fourth visit to Rome. We stayed at the Napoleon to attend a family wedding. All other members of the party were staying at this hotel, so we had no choice in the matter. The location is great and the guys at the front desk are very helpful and the breakfast was grand. But the rooms are small... more
