My granddaughter and I spent 4 nights at the Grand Hotel Central and loved every minute of it. The desk staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were very hip, beds were fabulous, and the roof-top pool was icing on the cake. There were a number of restaurants nearby, and public transportation was only a block or so away. more

Spent 4 nights here Mon - Fri. chose the hotel after reading the reviews from others and the pictures. The real selling point was the location and rooftop pool. Booked an Executive Room which promised extra space and the best views. Reality was a tiny room,with horrible views, which was dark and claustrophic Only decent thing is the location, but the combination of poor lighting and black walls did nothing for me. A great boutique hotel; stylish and smart, but not so dark you can't see. The staff were courteous. Fantastic location just round the corner from the cathedral. I had an executive room which was clean and spacious. The minibar was inclusive in the price, and even contained non-alcoholic beer. Great rooftop pool too! more
