The hotel is in a good location with nice rooms - but is clearly geared toward the business traveler. The restaurant on premises is outrageous (21E for a sparse buffet), the front desk is very young - little knowledge of the Frankfurt area & no knowledge of the local tourist spots. more

We spent only one night at Lindner Main Plaza, but it was a wonderful expierence. Huge rooms, more like suites with seperated living and sleeping area - huge bathroom with a tub and marble floors. The room was "clean as a whistle" and the the view is really amazing through the big windows over the city (window can be opened).... more

It's a great place to stay. Admittedly it's over the other side of the river and not that close to the financial district but then again it's only 10 minutes by taxi or 5-6 minutes by ‘S-Bahn’ plus a 7-8 minute walk to the station. This hotel was fantastic ....we did a package weekend and also enjoyed the restaurant (fabulous food) the breakfast is amazing...the pool & sauna & steam room are a really nice way to relax...huge rooms....request room 5-2 if you can (5th floor) and it is GREAT ! Although I was in the smallest (cheapest) category, this was one of the largest hotel rooms I ever stayed at in Germany. Unfortunately, no skyline view, but good view over the Main river with a wide window sill to sit on. Windows open.
