We have just returned from a four night stay at the luxurious Swissotel. The hotel is in a great location and very convienient for public transport. We wanted somewhere handy for the Christopher Street Day Parade in the centre of town and also handy for seeing friends in Schoeneberg and Kreuzberg. The Swissotel was perfect. Ideal location and extremely comfortable accommodation. Competent and cheerful staff. Ate a "surprise menu" in the dining room one evening and that too was a treat. more

We stayed for three nights in June. Our room was on the 5th floor and faced out on to Ausbergerstrasse. It was spacious and had a wall of windows, so it had plentiful natural light. We once experienced the Amsterdam one and had a very bad opinion of the chain (waken up by "mystake" quite early in the morning to get us check out quickly).
