On our very first stay in Paris, we took a chance and booked Hotel Chomel based solely on TripAdvisor reviews because the hotel was not listed in most guidebooks. I don't think I would stay in this hotel again. While they did throw in free breakfast, the room was somewhat shabby and very dusty.
