This hotel is in the best location for the city of Dublin. It is right next to the irish parlament building, shops and bars. The food was excellent starting from the irish breakfast to the bar meals and there restaurant food is heaven. The room was on the first floor and very clean and spacious with a lovely ensuite with... more

I spend some time trying to find a hotel in Dublin as close to the city center as possible. There are of course many right in the middle of the action but some of them suffer from noice which is very natural considering their location. But I´m glad I found the Buswells. The location of this hotel is in my... more

Stayed for St. Patricks weekend 16th & 17th March 2008. At first glance everything was fine, a great location and a superb entrance lobby. Reception was a little slow but they were a little busy. Went to our triple room and it was ok. A little tired probably best describes it. There were things missing like no rubber doorstop in... more

This is an elegant hotel in a great location; minutes from Trinity College, Grafton Street and St. Stephens Green, as well as right next to the National Gallery, National Museum and Leinster House. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar but you don’t feel removed from the action. Upon arriving, we were greeted warmly by the reception... more

First room had constant buzz from kitchens below. 2nd room was tiny & had a very sagy bed. Only when we mentioned that we were staying for 3 days did they make any effort to find something better. ended up having an OK room up in the eaves. New bathroom in our room, but the whole hotel above the ground... more

Good Irish hotel in a good location, very close to the centre of Dublin. The staff are very friendly and helped me all the way during my 3 nights there. I used the restaurant during 1 evening and bar food the other days. The portions are good and quality is excellent. Breakfast is good if you go for the cooked... more

I stayed with my wife for 2 nights in mid November, together with 2 friends in another room. The hotel is well positioned but has seen better days. The main reception areas were warm and pleasant and the breakfast was great although the breakfast/dining room was a bit under lit and therefore gloomy. Our twin bedroom was a bit shabby... more
