We should have been staying at The Arlington, but due to over booking, (we booked in Feb08 with 10 other's) we were moved to The Morrison. What a result!!! Fantastic hotel. While checking in, we were called by friends saying that they could get us back in the Arlington, NO THANK YOU. Arrived at 12:15pm and although check in not... more

From the moment we arrived at the Morrison Hotel in Dublin we were treated so well. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. We arrived at 11 in the morning and didn't think they would let us into our room that early, but they did. The hotel has a nice clean modern style, which we enjoy. The rooms were fairly... more

We stayed at the Morrison for two nights, following a visit back in March where some things weren't quite right (given a double instead of twin, dirty wine glasses, no internet connection etc) - just to give it another shot. We were given an upgrade to a studio suite, this was a really lovely room. It was on the mezzanine... more

Took a three night package which included dinner, the price was reasonable for the quality of the room and the restaurant. Having read the other reviews I don’t think you should be put off. It’s a boutique hotel so it does have a certain ambiance, often mistaken for dark. The room was pretty standard in size yet clean and modern,... more

We were looking forward to our time at the Morrison, but were slightly disappointed with the actual hotel property. Let's start with the good aspects first! The hotel is modern and funky. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Not over the top, but available should when we needed anything. The hotel had a great location – very central. It... more

Have just returned from a overnight stay at The Morrison. The Hotel is very easy to find (just on the Quays) look out for the signs for Jervis Street Shopping Centre. The hotels is within walking distance of the city and adjacent to Temple Bar. Rooms are modern and breakfast was excellent. The Jervis St stop for The LUAS is... more

Had a great experience here. Yes, the bar is dimly lit, yes the corridors are also dimly lit, but it's not that there is something to hide. It's purely to create ambiance. In the evening little tealight candles are scattered throughout and along the steps on stairs which adds to the feeling. The main entrance on the quayside does bring... more

Stayed here for 2 nights on business following recommendation from a colleague - loved it ! Very chic hotel - design by John Rocha. Very friendly and efficient (Irish) staff were most helpful. Rooms are well equipped and very modern, with lovely toiletries provided ( Irish again ) and a well equipped bar and tea/coffee selection. Restaurant again very chic... more
