Stayed at this hotel for hubbys birthday. and booked a 4 poster which overlooked the gardens and out to sea. ACCOMODATION good sized room nicely decorated with a large bathroom which had a bath and seperate shower. The room was clean and comfortable with a huge bed. The public areas were ok if a bit sparse. FOOD we ate in... more

Enjoyed a three night break in early October, paid extra for a sea view room, room on the third floor. The downside to the third floor was the single lift in the hotel was out of action for our entire stay and likely to remain off for the remainder of the week. This was a major issue for my disabled... more

I am pleased you enjoyed your stay at the hotel, and our apologises that the lift was out of order during your stay. I am pleased to advise that the lift had major repair work carried out recently and is fully operational. Our Wi Fi provision is also being upgraded at present. We look forward to welcoming you back in the...

This hotel has a great location on the banks of the Cromarty Firth and within walking distance of Nairn Golf Club. The rooms were good although ours had a distinct smell of dampness. I reported this and was offered a move but the view from the room was so good we decided to stay put. The quality of the food... more

We are glad you enjoyed stay with us. The smell of dampness was caused by a leaking radiator pipe which has now been repaired. We hope you will return to visit us again in the future and thank you for kind comments.

Arrived on Friday to stay 3 nights. Hotel was full of wedding guests and wedding ceremony had just finished. Might find it hard to get a room during the summer weekends because of the weddings. Never the less, and despite the hotel obviouisly being busy we were well welcomed. Room was large and the bed was massive. Nicely appointed and... more

Reading through previous reviews this hotel appears to have been in the doldrums for the past couple of years. However, with new owners and management on board I would suggest that the corner has been turned based on our very enjoyable break last weekend. The room was clean, well decorated and comfortable, the staff professional and attentive without being overbearing... more

We spent a weekend here for a friends wedding in 2005. Since that time there has been new ownership and I have not visited since. The location is amazing. Overlooking the loch with large gardens, gym, an indoor pool and tennis courts. The hotel was very clean and spacious. Rooms were well appointed with large, comfortable beds. The bathrooms were... more

Better than ever! Having stayed at the Golf View on numerous occasions over the last 8 years and seen the hotel change hands twice, I can honestly say that, under the Crerar/Swallow Group, the hotel even surpasses the service which we thought first-class when it belonged to the family-run Morton Group. We booked through a special offer of £25 per... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in mid February. This was a surprise for my wife was would soon be celebrating a "significant" birthday. I used the site Bookings.Com who said in their correspondence that when available we be upgraded to a better room. I telephoned the hotel the day before leaving to request that... more

Nice place to stay on a February evening when the sun is out and you can get on the beech on 12 degrees c. Good rooms, but the food was a letdown. Dinner was average, breakfast was poor. more

We have just returned from a 3-night break and had a great time. The staff were excellent, room was spacious and clean, and the food was outstanding. The leisure club was good, although sometimes busy with private members. We will certainly return, it was a fantastic and very relaxing break. more
