This hotel is situated directly across the street from the cruise ship terminal. The lobby is open and airy. The staff at the registration desk were courteous, friendly and helpful, always addressing me by name. My room on the 16th floor had a fabulous view across English Bay. The Fairmont waterfront is a great choice in Vancouver. I was given a complimentary upgrade to a Portside Deluxe room (oceanview) on the 21st floor. we had a portside deluxe room on the 18th floor, the view was fabulous.The staff were very polite and helpful.
