Mall Bangkapi is a long away out of downtown Bangkok, but it's easily reached on the klong ferry boat departing opposite the former World Trade Centre. Sign language and lots of pointing is of the essence as you won't meet many English-speaking locals (and virtually no fellow tourists) along the way and at your destination, but you can get by.... more

I Love the Mall Bangkapi!!!! It's out of town so no western tourists are around (the odd one now and again), this gives a better feeling of modern thai shopping malls.
