I went to the Chinese Garden last in my trip to Sydney. I am so glad I went. Beautiful waterfalls, plants, even a few lizards running around. They had big rock formations throughout the garden, very tranquil. For $10-15 you could dress up in Chinese clothing and take your own pictures, if I hadn't gone alone that would have been... more

A breathtaking oasis in Darling Harbour. Grab a picnic lunch on the way, and eat by the lake. Its hard to believe that you are in the middle of a bustling city. Great photo opportunities. Small entrance fee AUD6, I think. more

This is one of the most beautiful places in Sydney. It's almost as if the trees and water block out the city noise. Many of the views are like paintings and the Koi are huge! Worth a visit, but be aware that these gardens are enclosed and you do have to pay a small fee to enter. more

The plants and design of this garden are beautiful, a sanctuary in the hustle and bustle of Sydney. The architecture is nicely done, if all you want to see if koi and lotus flowers, don't bother, but otherwise is was a wonderful retreat. more

No lotus flowers in site. They really didn't do a good job of maintaining the place which was really disappointing! A couples... more

The garden was large and well done, with a number of signs explaining the design principles. It was uncrowded even in the middle of summer allowing me to get a number of great pictures, and to take my time wandering through the garden.... more
