I was on a trekking holiday as part of a group of 10. My first experience of the hotel was when trying to change money. I was given 500 rupee notes intstead of thousand, costly mistake, had I not been aware. On the first night, the hotel room was so poor I asked to be moved to a different hotel.... more

Crowne Plaza Hotel Kathmandu - Soaltee

The Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza is an excellent hotel. The service is very good and there is a choice of restaurants within the hotel complex. The piano player in the bar deserves a mention for his huge variation of tunes, even though the piano was slightly off key, it all added to the atmosphere. The room was very nice indeed... more
