First impressions were good. Reception was clean and looked lovely. Shame there was no welcome from any hotel staff (like other hotels we've been to). The room was very comfortable but very basic, excellent bed but the bathroom, shower, bath and fittings were very tired looking and definitely not 5 star. Loads of hot water at all times. Tropical Storm Hanna
There is now a tropical storm warning in place for the central and northwestern Bahamas. Warnings for the southern Bahamas and Turks and Caicos have been discontinued. Hanna is expected to pass through the Bahamas today before heading for the Carolina coast on Friday. There is a hurricane watch in effect from Surf City, North Carolina, to Edisto Beach, South Carolina. A tropical storm watch covers Edisto Beach south to Altamaha Sound, Georgia.

hotel 10% full - pool to yourself Dominicans at weekend - very bad mannered people staff generally good , but beware scammers (Mamud junior) Not much to do unless you book on trips - which actually make the holiday beach ok food ok more
